Latin American countries coordinate efforts to tackle marine plastic litter

On Thursday 26 February, in Puntarenas, Costa Rican officials announced the launch of the “Plastic Reduction in the Oceans: Sustaining and Enhancing Actions on Sea-based Sources” (PRO-SEAS) Project.

On 25 February as part of the GloLitter Partnerships Project (GloLitter) Togo convened its first National Task Force (NTF) meeting under the OceanLitter Programme.
